Venture was founded in the early 80's by Fausto Vitello (co-founder of Thrasher Magazine, Independent Trucks, Thunder Trucks and DLXSF) and Keith Cochrane (Co-founder Think Skateboards).

The brand was initially launched as a price point alternative to the two other Ermico Enterprises produced trucks; Independent and Thunder Trucks. But nowadays is among the best trucks out there.

If you prefer a stable truck, then Venture is the top choice. Part of the reason for it are the barrel shaped bushings, plus the fact that the hanger of the truck is placed a little more towards the nose/tail.
